Schedule a Business Strategy Day and Plan Your Way to Success

Do you know where your business will be in 6 months? 1 year? 2 years? 5 years? Do you know what steps you need to take to reach those goals? Are your daily actions brining you closer to your goals or are you just “spinning your wheels”? Are your business systems and processes supporting your goals or do they need updated?

If you don’t have answer to these questions, you need a business strategy day to help you plan your way to business success.

Schedule a weekly or monthly strategy day, then honor that appointment with yourself.

Here are some areas of your business to evaluate during your strategy session:

- What are your business goals?

- Why do you want to reach these goals?

- What, very specifically, will it take to reach these goals? Break down your needed actions into quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily steps.

- Which daily actions are moving you closer to these goals?

- How can you make more time for the “positive movement” actions?

- What daily actions are keeping you stuck where you’re at or moving you further from these goals?

- How can you eliminate the “negative moment” actions or spend less time on them? Are there tasks you’re spending time on that could be outsourced, automated, or just dropped?

- Are your business systems and processes helping you reach your goals or limiting your movement? What changes do you need to make to help your systems work more effectively? Here are some to review: website, shopping cart, email program, newsletter, marketing, customer service, book keeping.
